Workflow Tasks for Images and PDFs
Prior to uploading a file to MediaValet, verify the following:
- Collect the required metadata
- Save the source file with the correct file naming convention
In MediaValet
- Upload file to MediaValet (manually vs Wrike)
- Verify metadata has been applied and follows governance
- Verify file name follows governance
- Sync file to AEM Assets
In AEM Assets
- New Asset for Review - Approve/Reject new asset listed in email
- New Asset Added - If approved, move new asset to correct hosting location per Asset Hosting goverance
- Rejected Asset - If rejected, verify asset has not be added
- Override - Republish asset at path provided in email
- Delete for Review - Approve/Reject asset listed in email
- Deleted Asset - Verify asset removed from AEM Assets

Metadata in Asset Is Wrong
- Fix metadata in MediaValet
- Resync from MediaValet to AEM
- Republish asset in AEM
File Name in Asset Is Wrong
- Fix file name in source file
- Override file in MediaValet - do not create a new item
- Resync from MediaValet to AEM
- Republish asset in AEM
Title in PDF Is Wrong
- Known issue currently in development to fix - Title in PDF Properties are overriding MediaValet Title; Title needs to pull from MediaValet Title
