MediaValet to AEM Presentations Workflow

The MediaValet to AEM workflow for presentations content was launched in September 2024.

The Web Team will need to keep tag names in sync with MediaValet and Mulesoft.

  • Global Event - A new tag will need to be created for each new event prior to the presentation items being sent through the workflow to AEM.

Assets

Web publishers should not need to take any action with presentation assets in AEM.

The automated workflow should kick off automically to push content to language-masters.

Confirm if assets should be published automatically in AEM Assets

Sites

Web publishers should not need to take any action with presentation content in AEM.

An automated workflow has been enabled within AEM so that when presentation items flow into AEM from MediaValet, the assets will be pushed to language-masters and rolled out to Live Copy, then published to the live site.

In Coveo

Other than creating/editing/removing the necessary tags within AEM, Web publishers should not need to take any action with presentation content in Coveo.

Once Coveo reindexes, the presentation content will appear automatically in the internal search results.

Testing

Regardless of the workflow performed between MediaValet and AEM, verify the items have been added/overridden/deleted in the following locations.

  • New Item Workflow
  • Resync/Override Workflow
  • Desync/Removal Workflow

Verify in email:

  • Mulesoft confirmation email for added/overridden/deleted
